Selected for a U.S. Market Expansion Support Program in Partnership with Stanford University’s “StartX”

TopoLogic, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the U.S. on-site program of the “Global DeepFusion Tokyo Program (StartX × UTokyo IPC × TOKYO SUTEAM),” a support program for Japanese deep-tech startups expanding into the U.S. market, organized by the University of Tokyo Innovation Platform Development, Inc. (hereinafter “UTokyo IPC”).

Applying Japanese Technology to Solve Global Challenges

We are a deep-tech startup spun out of the University of Tokyo that aims to solve global industrial challenges through the practical application of new materials and topological materials. We are developing next-generation memory and heat flux sensors that leverage the properties of topological materials, and since our founding in 2021, we have raised a cumulative total of 1.11 billion yen in funding.     At the same time, scaling up in the global market, acquiring new customers and partners, and securing funding from overseas investors are essential for our future growth. By participating in this program, we aim to leverage StartX’s entrepreneurial community, corporate and investor networks, and expert networks to strengthen our business foundation for societal implementation.

Expanding into the U.S. Market with “StartX,” the Stanford University-Based Accelerator

The “Global DeepFusion Tokyo Program (StartX × UTokyo IPC × TOKYO SUTEAM)” is a program offered by the University of Tokyo IPC in collaboration with “StartX,” the Stanford University-based accelerator, for Japanese deep-tech startups aiming to expand into the U.S. market, form business partnerships with U.S. companies, and secure funding in the U.S. The program offers an integrated experience—including a pre-departure boot camp in Japan, online mentoring leading up to the trip to the U.S., and an approximately 10-day intensive program in the U.S.—to support participating companies in validating hypotheses and building networks for customer acquisition, business partnerships, fundraising, and go-to-market strategies in the U.S. market.
This program is being implemented as part of “Global DeepFusion Tokyo,” which the University of Tokyo IPC is conducting as the designated partner for the Reiwa 7 Deep Tech Course under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Startup Support Initiative by Diverse Entities (TOKYO SUTEAM).”
